Dr Isabelle Andresen
Clinical Psychologist & CBT Therapist

I am a Clinical Psychologist who works with people facing a wide range of difficulties. This includes supporting those who feel overwhelmed by emotions such as anxiety or depression, people who have experienced trauma or loss, those navigating relationship challenges, and individuals living with phobias or health-related concerns.
I have experience working across a variety of mental health services, supporting young people, adults, and couples. Creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space is very important to me, so that you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace.
In my work, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion FocusedTherapy (CFT), psychodynamic therapy, and systemic therapy. This allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs, circumstances, and goals.I see therapy as a collaborative process. Whether you are looking for help with a specific difficulty or simply want to understand yourself better, therapy can offer a space to reflect, grow, and make meaningful change.
